How a one-way drop from Madurai works

   Send the date and drop point

   One WhatsApp message to 90039 62006, or a call to 90039 61006: the date, the pickup area, your drop point and how many are travelling.

   Get one one-way fare

   The desk replies with the fare for the vehicle that fits, and nothing for the return. An advance confirms the booking.

3. 3

   Get dropped

   The driver picks you up in Madurai and drops you where you are going. You pay the balance to the driver.

What you do not pay

No return kilometres: the car is billed only from your pickup in Madurai to your drop point. Driver bata is charged once, not for each day, and the drive carries no night charge.

What you pay

The kilometres at the one-way rate, from ₹15 per km, plus ₹400 driver bata. A drop is billed for at least 130 km.

Toll, parking and other-state permits are paid at actual; a drop into Kerala pays the Kerala permit. A hill road adds a hill charge of ₹1,000. GST at 5% is added to the bill.

On the way

A drop of more than 100 km includes one stop for a meal. The trip is point to point; other stops, or waiting on the way, are charged at the rate the desk states when you book.

Pickup and booking

The car comes to your home, a hotel near the Meenakshi Amman temple, Madurai Junction, the Mattuthavani bus stand or the airport. Send the date, the pickup and the drop on WhatsApp; the desk replies with one fare and tells you the advance when it confirms.

What the one-way fare covers

• A one-way drop is billed from Madurai to your drop point at the one-way rate, for at least 130 km.
• There is no charge for the vehicle's empty return.
• Driver bata is charged once for the trip.
• Toll, parking and other-state permits are extra; a fixed total to a place already includes them. GST at 5% is added to the bill.
• The trip is point to point. A drop of more than 100 km includes one stop for a meal; other stops, or waiting on the way, are charged extra.
• Distances on this site are approximate; detours, road blocks and U-turns are not counted, and on a per-km fare the odometer is final. See the terms.
• On hill roads the AC is switched off, and the trip carries a hill charge of ₹1,000, once for the trip. No smoking or alcohol in the vehicle.
• An advance confirms the booking; the balance is paid to the driver on the trip. Rates move with the diesel price, so the desk confirms the fare when you book.
