For a trip out of Coimbatore, a van costs ₹20 per km, with ₹700 driver bata for each day and a minimum of 250 km a day. The kilometres are counted from where the van starts in Coimbatore and back to it.

Which van for how many
A Tempo Traveller comes as a 12, 13, 14 or 18-seater, the Force Urbania as a 12 or 16-seater, and the Mahindra Tourister seats 16. For 19 to 21 people, the desk sends a mini bus instead.
The Tempo Travellers and the Urbania have AC; the Mahindra Tourister is non-AC. Bags ride on the Tempo Traveller's roof carrier, so tell the desk roughly how many are coming along with the headcount.
Pickup in Coimbatore
The van is based in Coimbatore with its driver and comes wherever the group gathers: a home, a wedding hall, a hotel, Coimbatore Junction, the Gandhipuram bus stand or the airport. Gandhipuram and the Junction are under 5 km apart, so one van can collect from both before it sets out.
Coimbatore International Airport is about 10 km from Gandhipuram (Google Maps, 5 October 2026).
What is added to the fare
Toll, parking and other-state permits are paid at actual. The Kerala border at Walayar is about 30 km from Gandhipuram (Google Maps, October 2026), and a trip across it adds the Kerala permit.
On a hill road the AC is switched off and a hill charge of ₹1,000 is added. An outstation trip carries no night charge. GST at 5% is added to the bill.

The conditions that go with the fare
- Kilometres run from where the vehicle starts in Coimbatore and back to it, as the vehicle's odometer reads them.
- Outstation trips carry a daily minimum; kilometres beyond it are billed at the per-km rate.
- Driver bata is charged for each calendar day.
- Toll, parking and other-state permits are extra, and GST at 5% is added to the bill.
- On hill roads the AC is switched off, and the trip carries a hill charge of ₹1,000, once for the trip.
- No smoking or alcohol in the vehicle.
